Dawes bikes offer a unique blend of British heritage and outstanding performance. It all started in 1906, in Birmingham, when Charles Dawes went into business in a partnership known as Humphries & Dawes, with the Humphries side of the business making motorcycles.
By 1926, Charles Dawes set up Dawes Cycles Limited, with the company building to become a significant brand in the UK. The Dawes factory made bikes for the armed services during the war and has supported a whole host of British racing cyclists over the years both on and off-road.
Dawes produces a full range of bikes for all cyclists but is best known for touring bikes, specifically the Galaxy model lines.
