FAQ
Do you charge for delivery?
We offer FREE delivery on all our bikes to most of mainland UK. There are exclusions. See our Delivery page for more details.
Do you deliver to non-mainland UK addresses?
Due to ongoing increased costs from courier companies, we no longer offer delivery for most non-mainland UK addresses.
Do you deliver outside of the UK?
We only deliver to UK addresses. However, should you wish to use your own courier to collect from us, we can provide dimension and weight information.
How do I know when my order will be delivered?
On the day of delivery, the courier company will give you a 2-hour delivery window via text and email.
Will someone need to be in to sign for the goods?
Yes, the delivery driver will need a signature for the goods.
What if no one is available to sign for the goods?
The delivery driver might leave the item(s) with a neighbour or attempt re-delivery the next working day. A card may be left to inform you of this.
What happens if there is still no one in after the second delivery attempt?
The delivery driver might attempt a final delivery the next working day, leave your item(s) with a neighbour or leave a calling card with instructions.
Will I be informed of the estimated delivery date?

How do I know if my bike is faulty or not?
Though most defects are covered under warranty, there are exceptions. Below is a list of scenarios that are not covered under warranty:
- Stripped pedal threads caused by insufficient tightening or cross-threading
- Accidental damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by improper build-up or repair
- Bikes that have been modified, neglected or poorly maintained
My bike is missing something. What's the easiest solution?
If something is missing from your bike, the best solution might be to send the missing part to you, rather than exchange the whole bike. Contact Us to let us know what's missing and we'll send it to you ASAP.
Do your bikes come with a warranty?
Yes, all bikes purchased from North Bikes are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, which is usually 1 year. North Bikes will cover manufacturing faults and defects, including poor workmanship.
Do I need to assemble my new bike?
Each bike is fully assembled at the manufacturing factory to make sure everything is complete and working, then partially disassembled to get it into a smaller box for shipping. Your bike will arrive to you approximately 80% built and require the user to fit the pedals, saddle, handlebars and front wheel. No special skills are required to assemble the bike as the factory has already done all the hard work for you. Occasionally, it may be necessary to fine-tune the brakes and gears, but this is not always necessary. On average, it takes between 30 and 60 minutes to complete the final assembly. General instructions, essential tools and a hand pump are provided with each bike to help with this. We fully PDI (pre-delivery inspection) every bike before it is dispatched to ensure that it meets our quality control standards.
Do I need any particular skills to assemble my bike?
No, the manufacturing factory has already done all the hard work for you.
