A bicycle pump is a must-have tool for every cyclist, and it should be one of your first purchases once you've found your bike.

Pumps come in four main varieties - hand pumps, floor pumps, shock pumps and CO2 pumps. Most pumps are compatible with the two most popular valve types - Schrader and Presta.
