Hornit was founded by former lawyer and Ironman triathlete, Tom de Pelet, in 2012.  Tom spent 7 years commuting to work in London and saw a gap in the market for innovative cycling products.

When the brand launched, the first product to launch was the dB140 - the world’s loudest bike horn.  Since the success of this product, the team at Hornit has dedicated itself to sourcing and designing innovative, stylish and fun cycling products for people of all ages.

As Hornit grew, and Tom became a parent, it became clear that early rider safety wasn’t just about the accessories, but also about the bike itself.  The goal was to create beautiful, reliable and great value kids' bikes that spark joy and build confidence.

No stone was left unturned to make the Hero range one of the lightest, highest-quality, most affordable kids' bikes on the market, with meticulous attention to detail to guarantee comfort and supreme handling.

Now an established brand, Hornit has won several awards and its products are sold in over 40 countries worldwide.  Each Hornit bike comes with a free lifetime warranty on the frame and forks to the original owner for as long as they own the bike.
