Rascal bikes were officially introduced in 2019 at the Eurobike International Bicycle Exhibition, and immediately caught the attention of the cycling world, journalists and the visiting public.  Previously, this Czech company had been operating in the field of children's cycling since 2010.

After gaining a solid insight into the market, the founders Kuba Holec and Ondra Brunecký decided to utilise their experience and establish their own brand.  Kuba, an experienced cycle racer, and Ondra, a former interior designer, collaborated with frame designer Jaroslav Juřica, to create the 'perfect bike'.

Together they took care of the challenges of optimising geometry, searching for optimal production technologies, and selecting suppliers that would provide high-quality, lightweight and size-appropriate components.  This intensive development of the first Rascal bike series took 2 years of dedication.

All Rascal bikes feature a unique transparent tinted lacquer finish, which lets the details and exclusivity of the brushed heat-treated 6061-series aluminium frames stand out.  Rascal bikes are further characterised by Gates carbon belt drives instead of conventional chains, offering a safe and silent, maintenance-free solution, with no oil or grease on hands or clothes.
